Course Description

The focus of this class is to pick up where Women’s Pistol 1: Intro leaves off. Students will take what was learned in the classroom and apply it to live-fire training on the range. This hands-on course will re-emphasize safety, loading and unloading, and practical application of basic handgun shooting fundamentals. After completing this class, students will be able to confidently and safely operate a handgun wherever they go next!

Notes: This is the second course in the Women’s Training Track and is for women only who truly feel ready to go to the range. It will give students the skills to truly have a productive basic handgun experience.

If you need to reschedule, and it is 48 hours prior to the start time of the training, you may do so one time free of charge. Each additional time you reschedule (48 hours prior to the training), you will be charged a $25 fee.

If you reschedule within 48 hours of the start time of the training, you will be charged a $25 fee.

No refunds will be issued on cancellations within 48 hours of the start time of the training.

Instructor Bio

Alysia Burrows is an accomplished multi-gun competition shooter, NRA-certified firearms instructor, certified Utah concealed firearms instructor, licensed private security officer, and mother of four.

Alysia was born and raised in Orange County, California and received her B.S. from University of Utah in 2009 where she took her first pistol course. With 20 years of marriage under their belt, she and her husband Sean are inseparable on and off the range. After her first shot from a pistol, it has been difficult to find a moment when she is not in close proximity to a firearm of her choice.
In 2015, she began exploring the world of competition shooting, eventually finding her way to the multi-gun shooting sports. Currently, she leverages her large and rapidly growing social media following to help inform, inspire, and empower other women and families to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights and participate in action shooting sports.
