WOMEN’S INTRODUCTION TO FIREARMS

This course is for women only.
The goal of this class is to get you familiar with a firearm. We will cover safety, loading and unloading. We will also go over the basic principles of shooting which include grip, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger pull and more. We will also cover safety in the home and how to store your firearm.
- A handgun. (Please have gun cleared and checked in before entering the class.)
- Note: If you are renting a firearm from us please arrive 30 minutes before the class begins.

- 50 rounds minimum of Ammunition
Items above can be purchased and rented in the store.
**ReadyGunner ammo must be used in all rental firearms.
No refunds will be issued on cancellations within 48 hrs of the course date. You may only reschedule one time for another course at a later date for no charge. Each additional time you reschedule you will be charged a $25 fee to reschedule. If you miss your scheduled class WITHOUT notifying us, you will NOT be allowed to reschedule without re-paying a $25 fee for the class. No refunds will be issued for missed classes.

This former professional swing dancer is now an accomplished 3-gun competitive shooter, firearms instructor, licensed private security professional, and mother of four. Alysia Burrows was born and raised in Orange County, California, so firearms were not an immediate area of focus until she married her Alaskan husband, Sean. It all changed after her first shot from a pistol, and it has been difficult to find a moment when she is not in close proximity to a firearm of her choice.
In 2015, she began experimenting in the world of competitive practical shooting, eventually finding her way to the sport of 3-gun. Currently, she leverages her large and rapidly increasing social media following to help influence other women and families to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights and participate in the action shooting sports.
Alysia proudly competes as a member of Team Federal Premium, Team Atlas Gunworks, and is Pro Staff for B&T USA. In 2020 she co-founded Elevated Training LLC to meet the ever increasing demand for quality firearms education. She has teamed up with Ready Gunner to provide a Women’s course that removes the fear and stigma that is often felt for first time gun owners.

I really enjoyed the class. She is very knowledgeable. I have a better understanding of my gun. The only disappointment is there is no intermediate class for women only. I would like to take another class with Alysia.
