The Utah concealed carry permit is the most recognized permit in the nation. Giving you the ability to carry in 33 different states.

You do not need to bring your firearm to this course. All instructional materials will be provided by the instructor.

**It’s very important you show up on time to avoid missing important information. This class may go over the allotted time depending on fingerprinting and photos. Please arrive 30 minutes early for finger prints and photos. Anyone arriving more than 10 minutes late won’t be admitted to the class.

**The class is several hours long and a small break will be taken in the middle to use restroom and eat. Please bring a lunch, or we have a variety of sodas and snacks available to purchase.

IMPORTANT NOTES – PLEASE READ THIS SECTION

No refunds will be issued on cancellations within 48 hrs of the course date. You may only reschedule one time for another course at a later date for no charge.  Each additional time you reschedule you will be charged a $25 fee to reschedule. If you miss your scheduled class WITHOUT notifying us, you will NOT be allowed to reschedule without re-paying a $25 fee for the class. No refunds will be issued for missed classes.

Q. How do I register online?
A. Complete the form on this page, and click Add to Cart.

Here are some step-by-step instructions:

STEP 1: READ THIS ENTIRE PAGE.
STEP 2: Using form on this page, Select the date & time of the course you wish to attend.
STEP 3: Select the Number of Attendees in your group (This will calculate the registration fee for you).
STEP 4: Enter the names of all the people in your group in the Attendee Names field.
STEP 5: Select the number of people in your group that will be getting fingerprints and photos done at the time of the course.
STEP 6: Click the Add to Cart button.

Q. What do I need to bring when I attend the CCW course?
A. All you need is your current State issued ID, and your payment in check or Credit to cover the State Fee.

Q. Does the $25 include everything?

A. NO. The $25 registration fee covers the cost for you to attend the class and includes a full set of fingerprints, a photo (passport size). Utah State requires an additional application fee of ($53.25 for UT residents, $63.25 for out-of-state residents).

Q. Can I bring my own fingerprints and photo?

A. Yes, you can however these items are included in your course. Bringing your own will not discount the course

Q. Where do we pay for the application fee?

A. The application fee must be paid to Utah State and can be paid with a credit card, cash, or a check.

Q. I am bringing 1 or more guest(s). How do I sign up everybody for the course?

A. Using the fields above, select the date of the course you are registering for, select the number of attendees, and enter the attendees names in the appropriate box.

Q. How long is your CCW course?

A. You should allow Approximately 4.5 hours from start to finish.

Q. When can I send in my application?
A. You can mail your completed application, along with your fingerprints and photo Immediately upon complete of the course.

Q. How long does it take to receive my permit?
A. You should allow for approximately 35-40 days for the BCI to process your application. If you have submitted your application more than 40 days ago and have not received your permit you can check the status of the application by calling the BCI at 801-965-4445.

Q. What if my application get rejected?
A. There are no refunds for rejected applications.

Q. What if I can’t make it to the class – can I reschedule?
A. YES. Simply call the shop and we can get you rescheduled for another date.

Q. Is there a “sales pitch” in the class?
A. NO. When you come to the CCW class the intention is for you to be trained and to meet the requirements mandated by the State of Utah for you to receive a Concealed Firearms Permit. Our instructors are not sales people. Ready Gunner is a well-stocked Firearms dealer, so should you choose to purchase your next firearm here you will be well taken care of.
